The Best Hello Kitty Wallets
If you’ve found this website then you’re looking for a Hello Kitty wallet either for yourself or for a Hello Kitty fan that you know – and indeed you have come to the right place, as I am one of Hello Kitty’s biggest fans and just love finding out about all the best merchandise out there. I’ve put together this website specifically about Hello Kitty wallets as it seems to me that having a branded wallet is a nice and easy way to enjoy one’s passion for Hello Kitty without advertising it to the whole world! This is particularly true for older Hello Kitty fans – grown-up women who still hanker after their childhood hero, but don’t want to be too obviously childish!
But in fact there are so many different styles and designs of Hello Kitty wallets that there is something out there to suit every taste and occasion. You can be as discrete as you want with styles like the Purple Embossed Hello Kitty Wallet or the slightly bigger Black Embossed Wallet, both distributed by Loungefly and featuring a very subtle embossed Hello Kitty motif. Or you can be glitzy glam with designs like the Hello Kitty Silver Sequin Square Wallet, perfect for fun girly nights out!
There are also a number of very quirky wallets out there – most of them distributed by Loungefly who are known for their amusing take on Hello Kitty merchandising. Loungefly also do two more fully decorated Hello Kitty wallets, which I just love: the Hello Kitty Apples wallet and the Hello Kitty Western Cowgirl wallet. Both of these wallets have some really brilliant appliqué details, and the insides are beautifully finished with matching lining and useful slots and compartments. They are quite a fashion statement in themselves, as far as I’m concerned, and perhaps best suited to teenagers or those who still like to have fun with fashion.
Hello Kitty wallets are also available for younger ages – indeed it’s never too young to start looking after your pocket money! For really young girls there is the super adorable Hello Kitty Pink Ballerina wallet – very pastel pink, very cute, and retailing at under $10 – a fun and easy Hello Kitty gift for sure. For slightly older girls my favorite is the Hello Kitty Satin Finish Black wallet that is less childish, featuring a simple design of Hello Kitty on the front and with a pretty pink zipper detail to keep the wallet contents safe.

If you’re looking for a fun Hello Kitty wallet for your daughter or niece, this is a great option – a perfect way to introduce her to the responsibility of carrying money. In a classic bifold style that folds in half with two sections, this wallet features a delightful image of Hello kitty dressed as a ballerina holding her ballet pumps, surrounded by a heart and flowers on a pretty pastel pink background. A great choice for a slightly older child or a teenager, this Hello Kitty wallet is made of polyester with a satin finish and features a simple but still very cute image of Hello Kitty with a pink bow on a black background. This wallet measures approximately 7.5” x 4.25” x 1”, there are multiple pockets inside and is in a bifold style with a pink zipper detail around it to keep the contents safe. This is a perfect intermediate wallet for a girl – not too childish, but also not too grown-up – and it has a fairly straightforward an likeable design, so it is a safe bet if you’re buying this as a gift and not too sure of the recipient’s tastes.

If you’re familiar with the distributor Loungefly then you will know that they have a great range of quirky Hello Kitty products and this Hello Kitty “Long Face” wallet is no exception. In the trifold wallet style with thee parts, the mainly white wallet features fantastic embroidered and appliqué details on the front making up Hello Kitty’s eyes, nose, whiskers, ears and iconic red bow. On the back of the wallet is a pocket detailed with a red zipper and the words “Hello Kitty” and inside, detailed in red and a custom red bow pattern lining, are two flaps for paper bills and seven slots for credit cards and an ID card slot also. This is a really cute and quirky wallet – perfect for a Hello Kitty fan who doesn’t take herself too seriously. My only concern about this wallet is that because it is mainly white, it could get dirty quite quickly – but on the other hand it is easily cleaned.

Another zany Hello Kitty wallet from Loungefly, this one is particularly amusing as it features Hello Kitty’s face with an angry expression! Like the Hello Kitty “Long Face” wallet, this wallet also has Hello Kitty’s eyes, nose, whiskers and ears detailed – this time with her eyes in s decidedly scowling attitude – and this time here bow is detailed in black and white with a scull and crossbones motif! It is also in the trifold style, and the inside is detailed in black with flaps for paper money and slots for credit and ID cards.
On the back is a handy pocket with black zipper and the words “Hello Kitty” in red and black made to look like cut out newspaper lettering. This wallet is great for those who want have a tongue-in-cheek attitude to fashion accessories – seeing out favorite, mild-mannered Kitty with this angry expression is rather subversive and fun. The manufacturers, Loungefly, also have a range of other “Angry Face” products including a coin purse, tote bags and lunchbox.

Perhaps best suited to the older Hello kitty fan, this purple wallet is ideal if you’re looking for a slightly more discrete way of showing off your love for Hello Kitty as, at first view, it is not so obviously branded – there is simply a rather elegant Hello Kitty motif pattern embossed into the patent effect material. In a half trifold style which closes with a press snap, the interior of the wallet is also in matching purple and has an inside zipper pocket for coin change, four flap pockets for paper bills, six credit card slots and an ID card slot.
The wallet measures around 7 ½” x 4 ½”, though there are smaller coin purse sizes available too. The wallet also comes in red and grey, but I think the purple is the best options as the deep tones are more easy to match with many outfits, and looks rather classy which is not always the case with effect material. Plus you could also get the adorable matching Hello Kitty Purple Embossed Tote Bag, from the same manufacturers Loungefly, that retails around the $50 mark.

In a similar vein to their Purple Embossed wallet, Loungefly do a slightly different style wallet with the same discrete Hello Kitty motif pattern, but this time in black patent effect material. This wallet is a bifold style with a zipper closure round one half, whilst the other half is kept closed with a press stud flap with a lovely Hello Kitty metal badge detail. Inside on the zipper closed side there is a large pocket for change, lined in pretty pink, and an ID card slot.
On the other flap side are six credit card slots and a further three large slots for paper bills. The whole wallet measures around 8” x 4”, and is also available in pink or navy blue. Again, there are further matching accessories available including a tot bag and a smaller coin purse. Like the Purple Embossed wallet, this Black Embossed Hello Kitty wallet is perfect for an older woman who likes to have fun with her accessories, but doesn’t want to look too childlike.

Accessories manufacturer and distributor Loungefly, who specialize in unusual designs, seem to have a cornered the market in fun Hello Kitty wallets and the “Nerd Face” version is certainly one of their best. In fact Loungefly do two wallets in their popular Hello Kitty “Nerd” accessories range, but this one is my favorite as it is quite amusing. The wallet is mainly white and features Hello Kitty’s eyes, nose, whiskers and her “Nerd” glasses complete with band-aid patch holding them together, a plaid appliqué bow and cute appliqué ears! On the back is a zipper pocket with a black zipper that has a plaid toggle and the wording “I Love Nerds” detailed below.
Inside, again with matching plaid lining, are flaps for paper bills, six credit card slots and an ID slot too. This is a really fun wallet which is sure to make a Hello Kitty fan smile, plus there are tons of matching “Nerd” accessories and items including the coin purse, tote bag, backpack, lunch box, socks, iPad case, earrings and more!

Like their Hello Kitty “Nerd” range, Loungefly’s Hello Kitty “Apples” range of accessories is also very popular and there are a number of matching items available, including a really gorgeous tote bag and a cute set of six pairs of earrings. But it is the wallet which is especially covetable – any true Hello Kitty fan couldn’t help but fall in love with the adorable image of Hello Kitty detailed in appliqué on a patterned motif with images of hello Kitty and apples on a cream background.
The main body of the wallet is in blue denim and on the back there is a zipper pocket and three cute appliqué apples. The inside is detailed in denim and black polka dots on a creamy white background, and has a couple of large slots for paper bills, six credit card slots and an ID card slot. This wallet is really scrumptious and just perfect for girly-girl types – young women who just aren’t prepared to fully grow-up yet!

And here’s another great quirky Hello Kitty long wallet from Loungefly, this time featuring Hello Kitty in here cowgirl get-up! Designed in the trifold wallet style and in brown and beige tones, it has seriously cute embroidered and appliqué details of Hello Kitty wearing a cowboy hat, winking, and with her initials either side in western style lettering, and trimmed in embossed faux-leather. On the back is a zippered coin pocket, with a cream zipper, and Hello Kitty’s initials embossed like a brand. The inside is detailed in red bandana print and has six credit card slots, an ID card slot and three slots for paper bills. An added bonus is that, as with many of the Loungefly products, this wallet is suitable for vegans as it is made from canvas and faux-leather.
There are also a number of other Hello Kitty Western Cowgirl themed accessories available including a coin purse, tote bag and lunch box. This wallet is ideal for country-and-western-loving, rodeo-roving gals, and is just the thing for a little different take on the Hello Kitty image.

Last, but by no means least, on my list of the best Hello Kitty wallets is this fabulous silvery sequin one. As far as I’m concerned it epitomizes everything that a grown-up Hello kitty lover is all about – it is girly, a little bit kitsch and rather glitzy. This is the perfect wallet to have in your evening purse – with just enough sparkle for a night out, and more than enough of the cute factor to express your fun side.
Because it is small – at 5” x 6” – it really is just the right size for an evening purse: inside detailed in a bright pink lining there are two slots for credit cards and a zippered picket for your cab fare home! But practicalities aside, the best thing about this wallet is that it is covered all over in sparkly silver sequins detailing Hello Kitty’s face and ears, a pink sequin bow and her eyes and nose in paste crystals! This Kitty wallet is also available in a larger rectangular trifold wallet size, but to my mind that’s a bit on the big size for an evening purse. So for HK fans who enjoy glamorous and girly nights out this is the ideal wallet!
